2026/2027 SEASON TRYOUTS

Burlington Predators Soccer Club (BPSC) is excited to begin preparations for our Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 seasons. Tryouts will be held the first week of June at the Burlington RecPlex, with specific days and times to be announced soon.

We encourage all interested players and families to sign up for BPSC email updates to receive the latest information regarding tryouts, teams, and important club announcements.

Age Group Changes for 2026–2027

Beginning with the Fall 2026 season, U.S. youth soccer organizations—including US Club Soccer—are implementing a shift from calendar-year age groups to a school-year-based system (August 1 – July 31 cutoff).

This change was designed to better align players with their school peers and improve the overall player experience.​​

As always, BPSC will prioritize player development, team balance, and the best overall experience for each athlete when forming teams.

Find Your Age Group

To determine your player’s age group for the 2026–2027 season, locate their birth date range in the chart below. This will indicate the appropriate age division under the new school-year-based system (August 1 – July 31 cutoff).

Quick Note:

BPSC is committed to providing high-quality coaching and a strong developmental environment for every player. In order to uphold these standards, we are intentional about the number of teams we form each season. As a result, we may not offer teams at every age group each year, allowing us to ensure proper coaching, competitive balance, and a positive experience for all players involved.

This chart is a general guideline only. It is important to note:

• BPSC coaches will make final decisions regarding player placement based on skill level, player development, and team fit.

• Players may be placed in an older age group (“play up”) when appropriate.

• Players may not play down to a younger age group.
